Position: Teaching Assistant Level 2 (TA2)
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Times: 8:45 AM - 11:45 AM and 12:15 PM - 3:25 PM
Start Date: 1st September 2025 - until February 2026 initially then due to be reviewed due to maternity leave return.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 (TA2) to join our team, supporting children in Lower Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a high standard of education and care for our pupils, assisting them in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, particularly those with additional needs.
Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
Promote the well-being and social development of all pupils.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support pupil learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent - desirable.
Experience working with children in a primary school setting, preferably in Key Stage 2.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
