Please join in our live session where we can say our morning prayer, I will share our learning activities for today and we can complete Wake and Shake together. Today is our longer 'Catch-Up' session so I will also be sharing chapter 7 from 'Romans on the Rampage!' I can't wait to see you all!

Miss Green's Group- LO: To draft the introduction for my invention explanation text.

Now that you have designed your own invention, today we will start the draft version of an explanation text for Wallace and Gromit! We will be looking at the introduction and the PowerPoint that I will be sharing is attached below. In the folder's below you will find a teaching overview for the daily activities for this week and all the resources too. The story book, worksheets and spelling sheets have been uploaded- writing activities can either been printed out or completed in homework books.

Please check the overview and just complete the activities for today. (Mrs Raja's group has two pages in the folder too)

For times tables this week I would like these maths groups to practise the following:

Orange, green and blue groups- divide by 4

Yellow and red groups- divide by 2

Login to timestables or TTRockstars to practise these facts. 

There is a new TTRockstars KS2 Boys Vs Girls battle on until Friday too! 


Mathematics Lesson- 11:00 - 12:00

Blue, Green, Orange Groups- LO: To read and interpret bar graphs.

In this lesson we will be looking at bar charts. Please find the activities below that can be printed out or completed in your homework books. There is also an extra challenge activities on bar graphs to complete if you finish. 


Yellow Group- LO: To represent data in a tally chart and pictogram.

In this lesson we will be continuing to look at data in a pictogram and learn how to tally the information. Please find activities below and an extra challenge sheet if you finish. These can either be printed off or completed in your homework books. 


Red Group- LO: To become familiar with Venn Diagrams.

Afternoon Lessons- 1:10 - 3:00

Topic- 1:10-2:00

LO: To learn about the Roman Army and uniform worn by Roman soldiers.

Today you will be learning about the Roman army and the soldiers. There is a PowerPoint, video and all resources are attached below. 

Firstly read the PowerPoint and watch the video all about Roman soldiers and the army. Then there is a labelling activity to complete. 

Once you have done this I would like you to create a leaflet all about Roman soldiers and the army. You could draw or trace an image of a Roman soldier, label all the uniform and write facts about the Roman army. 

I can't wait to see your leaflets!!

There are also additional activities such as a wordsearch that you can complete if you wish.

RE- 2:00-3:00

LO: To explore the themes of listening and sharing.

As part of our new topic based on the Eucharist Mass, today we will be exploring how important it is to listen and share, considering how these skills link to the Eucharist. 

Please read the attached PowerPoint and complete the activities alongside it. There is an listening and drawing activity to complete with an adult/sibling, video scripture analysis and a poster task.
