Good Morning Class 3!
Well done for continuing to work so hard on your home-learning activities.
Remember this week is all about 'Children's Mental Health Week' and we'll be completing more activities around the theme of 'Express Yourself' during the afternoon.
Parents/Carers- please find below the daily timetable of activities for today. There are links to resources underneath each lesson which can either be printed or completed in homework books. Please continue to email me with evidence of your child's learning at least once a week.

Miss Green's Group- LO: To order and explain the sequence of events using time conjunctions.
Today, we will be looking at time conjunctions! We will watch The Snoozatronn again and sequence some pictures from the video, saying how each part of The Snoozatron works. We will write sentences including time conjunctions.

Please check the overview for each day and just complete those activities.

For times tables this week I would like these maths groups to practise the following:
Orange, Green and Blue Groups- Please practise the 4 times table facts and complete the race activity sheet below.
Yellow/Red Groups- Please recap and practise the 2 times table facts and complete the race activity sheet below.

Blue and Green Groups- LO: To subtract 3-digit numbers by regrouping from multiple columns

Yellow Group- LO: To add three 1-digit numbers.
Watch the video lesson- Exploring strategies to add three 1-digit numbers (thenational.academy) and complete the activities. The worksheet you can complete is attached below. There is also a Purple Mash activity to complete if you have finished.
Red Group- LO: To subtract a 1-digit number from a teen number.
Watch the video lesson- To use the 'Make ten' strategy to subtract a 1-digit number from a teen number (Part 2) (thenational.academy) and complete the activities. The worksheet you can complete is attached below and it might be useful to have some counting items too such as pasta shapes or cubes to help you with subtracting. There is also a Purple Mash activity on bonds to 20 to complete if you have finished.
For those of you that like a challenge, please find included in the folder some maths challenges and activities to complete if you have finished your work.

Spellings- 12:00 - 12:15
Please find below your new spellings for this week and activity sheets that need to be spread over the week.
Spellings will be tested next Monday (8th Feb) as we are having a day full of activities on Friday for 'Children's Mental Health Week.'
Miss Green's group- Please complete the dictation activity on your sheets. Ask an adult to read you sentences that includes some of your spelling words for this week and write them on the sheet or in your books.
Mr Webster's group- Please complete the missing words activity.
Ms Bell and Mrs Raja's groups- Please complete handwriting during this time as you complete your spelling activities during phonics in the mornings.

Gratitude Hunt!
Have a go at completing the 'Gratitude Hunt' attached. You could take photos and create a collage of all the things you are thankful for or your could design a poster. I would love for you to send me pictures of your work!
RE- New Topic- 'The Eucharist'- 2:00 - 3:00
LO: To 'check in' to our new topic on The Eucharist Mass.
Today we are starting our new topic all about the Eucharist Mass. This is the special name given to Mass that Christians' attend at church. Please read the lesson power point attached and complete the scripture and 'checking in' tasks either on the sheets or in your homework books with the date/title.
Remember this is the ‘Checking In’ you are not expected to know everything, we will learn lots about the Eucharist during the unit. Just write as much as you can!
