I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for another fun week of learning!

Don't forget to complete your work as neatly as you possibly can and always write out the date and title.

Parents/Carers- please find below the daily timetable of activities for today. There are links to resources underneath each lesson which can either be printed or completed in homework books. Please continue to email me with evidence of your child's learning at least once a week.

Morning Teams- Welcome Session- 9:10- 9:20

Please join in our live session where we can say our morning prayer, I will share our learning activities for today and we can complete Wake and Shake together. I can't wait to see you all!

If you can't join in the live session, a recording can be found on the Teams site.

This week we are continuing to build up your vocabulary for writing the opening scene from the BFG. In the folder's below you will find a teaching overview for the daily activities for this week and all the resources for today. The story book, worksheets and spelling sheets have been uploaded- writing activities can either been printed out or completed in homework books.

The main activities for today are to complete any unfinished work and the spelling test which can either be done now or later in the spellings session.

Break 10:30-10:45

Have a run about, stretch your legs and have a healthy drink/snack. 

PE- Live Dance Teams Session- 11:00 - 11:30

Please login to Teams at 10:45 to be ready for a live dance lesson with Mrs Denton!

After dance until 12:00, login to Cosmic Yoga or Joe Wicks to continue your PE session. Don't forget to add your sessions to your 21 minute challenge!

Miss Green's and Mr Webster's groups- Please complete the speed spell (this gives you a chance to practise spelling your new words) and activities on the first sheet. 

Ms Bell and Mrs Raja's groups- Please complete handwriting during this time as you complete your spelling activities during phonics in the mornings.

Afternoon Lessons- 1:10 - 3:00

Maths lessons will be during the afternoon on Mondays as you have dance in the morning.  

Arithmetic

This week you will be completing a divide by 3 test on Friday so you need to practise your division facts. Please complete the attached sheet or write the answers in your homework books.

Orange, Blue and Green Groups- LO: To recognise the place value of digits up to and beyond 1000.

Watch the BBC live lesson at Numeracy Live Lesson 1 - KS2 / First Level - BBC Teach and complete the activities. You can find the worksheet below that you need to complete alongside the video- you can pause it rather than being timed if you prefer. If you cannot print the sheet then just write the answers in your homework books. 

Yellow Group- LO: To explore 2-digit numbers by grouping in tens.

Watch the lesson at Exploring 2-digit numbers by grouping in tens (thenational.academy) and complete the activities. The worksheet is attached below that you can print off and complete alongside the lesson or you can just write the answers in your homework books. 

Red Group- LO: To count, order and compare digits up to 20, extending to 100.

PSHE/Mindfulness

After such a busy day of learning, take some time out for the rest of the afternoon and complete the attached 'mindfulness' activity. Ask an adult to read the text, close your eyes and listen. Afterwards, enjoy colouring the picture in.
