Religious Education-  This week marked the 'Feast of the Epiphany' and on Sunday the Church's New Year will begin. Use the attached power point to reflect upon the Wise Men, their gifts to Jesus and how Jesus is the most special gift of all, given to us.

Look at this scripture about when the Wise Men first saw Jesus:

Like the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Ezekiel 1:28

Jesus' appearance is liken to the wonderous beauty of a rainbow. Create a colourful star craft to represent the Epiphany and the colour and light that Jesus brings to our lives. Please find attached some examples that can be made with sticks or you can complete the colouring sheet attached if you don't have access to these resources.

God our Father I'd like to say

Thank you for your love today.

Thank you for my family and all the things you give to me.

Guard me in the dark of night and in the morning send your light.

Amen.

Well done for completing your first week of home-learning, I am so proud of you all.
